Proud student Jane with her colander (which she uses every day!)

I have small classes in my studio in Lindisfarne, 2020 being more complicated than we ever imagined!. This term had barely started when the pandemic had me call a halt to the classes until it is safe to resume again. Term 1 class has resumed, with the class size halved. I will update this site again when things become clearer.

If you are interested in being waitlisted for future classes, in 2021 and beyond please contact me. When each term’s classes are being organised and there are vacancies I will contact wait listed students in order of arrival on the list. From time to time I contact everyone by bcc email, so always check your JUNK if you havent heard from me.

Term  1 students  have resumed classes  with the term finishing on 9 November.

Term 2 will then begin, so long as Tasmania remains covid free. I will be booking classes from then for 2 weeks at a time, $80 for the 2 weeks.

Many places will be held by ongoing students, and if there are places I will be contacting present waitlisted students.

Classes are held  in my own studio, with a limit of  3 people per class due to social distancing. The studio is warm and access is easy.

There are classes on Monday from 10-12.30, Monday evening from 7-9.30 and Tuesday evening from 7-9.30.

Clay is purchased by students from me at cost in my studio, plus firing charges on an individual basis, unless students use their own colours, glazes and firing.

The classes include hand-building techniques such as pinching, coiling, slab work and figurative work, as well as a variety of  decorative techniques. More information and studio directions will be sent to participants.

Email or phone 62430195 for further information and enquiries.
